“Open gyms are looking nice.  A lot of people are coming out,” senior power forward Connor Donohoe said.

With fall sports coming to an end, the boys’ basketball season is quickly approaching.  Superfans once again are rallying their troops for war.

Unfortunately, last year’s season didn’t go as well as planned.  The boys’ record was 0-12 in the league, although they were able to pull out three wins for their overall record. For fie seniors, it’s their last year to make a statement at Fleetwood High.

“This year, we definitely need to share the ball to win games,” said Donohoe, who is looking forward to achieving many similar goals with the team. The seniors aren’t the only ones with high hopes this time around.

Christian Boyer, class of 2013, is determined to “get to county playoffs this year.” Returning center Kyle Flannery is even a little ambitious stating, “We’re looking to win states this year.”

The players aren’t the only ones preparing for a big season . Our mighty and spirited Superfans are also planning big things.

After the semi-successful soccer season, when the highlight was getting over 70 people to attend the Muhlenburg game, they’re back once more to support one of the winter sports teams.

“We’re gonna get rowdy!” senior Superfan Matt McCammitt said.

For most of the Superfans, it’s also they’re last year because most of the Tigers are seniors. For all the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and even seniors who missed out on the soccer season earlier this year, this is the chance to redeem yourself.

Superfans unite!
