“I have been a whistler ever since I was able to!” says Fleetwood Area High School Technology Education teacher John Heck.
But he does not realize when he starts or stops—he simply whistles unconsciously. Heck is unable to pick a favorite song.
Everyone has heard Heck whistle, but what does the school think about his serenading? Mr. Heck, many people love your class, but are you ready to find out what they think of your whistling?
Liz Jones stated, “He is very good at whistling.”
Computer room monitor Matt Kellet, one of Mr. Heck’s good friends and co-workers, said, “He is very accurate and in tune, and I think Taj Mahal would be proud.”
Brandon Noll just enjoys hearing Mr. Heck whistling.
Paige Gergely said, “I think he’s a good whistler. He can whistle to any song, and you can understand it—you can dig it.”
“Pretty good, pretty good,” said Brian Keeney.
Mr. Heck’s whistling brightens Nate Reinert’s day.
“I think that it is just wonderful,” stated Kylie boldly.
Everyone loves to hear Heck’s whistling in class, and we all hope he keeps it up. Never stop being you, Mr. Heck.
