Do you have anything to do on March 13th? Do you want to help Fleetwood’s girls softball team? Have you ever dreamed of having breakfast at Applebee’s?
Fleetwood’s very own girls softball team is sponsoring a pancake breakfast on Sunday, March 13th, at Applebee‘s on the 5th Street Highway. The time of this event is 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The price is only $5.00 for all-you-can-eat pancakes. Sausage and a drink are also included. The members and coaches of the softball team will be serving as well! Contact FCS teacher Gina London for tickets to attend this breakfast.
Says London, “I love waitressing, and I did it for many years.”
The proceeds from the fundraiser will help the softball team acquire newer, better equipment. The fundraiser will sponsor both the middle school and high school teams.
Tip jars will also be placed at the pancake breakfast at Applebee’s for people to give tips to the waitresses and waiters who helped during the event.
Jordan Kost, a sophomore at FAHS, says, “I am very excited to help out with the breakfast—anything to help out my team!”
London also commented, “I am sure the turnout at Applebee’s will be good. I mean, how cool would it be to eat pancakes at Applebee’s?!”
Mark your calendars for this date, and don’t forget to come hungry!
