Everyone has his or her favorite subject, but some people do not like to share out of concern for their teachers’ feelings.
However, there are plenty of people who have no problem explaining what they thought about their favorite subject.
For instance, Ethan Martinez boldly said that math was his favorite subject–until this year–without giving a reason.
Kyle Flannery likes English the best, and his reason for this was “just because.”
Sara Kilgore said, “I like math the best because it is a piece of cake and all the teachers love me the most!”
Although Fleetwood has some students who are pretty enthusiastic about school, it also has downers who hate certain subjects. For instance, Mike Laitay hates all of the subjects the same; he has no favorite,. Neither does Jeff Estima.
Liz Jones enjoys history just because she does, and that is a good enough reason, or so she says.
Mari Camachi said, “I like English the best because, in Mrs. Wilkinson’s class, we’ve been watching videos.”
“To watch movies and to play pretty music”–this is why Josias Piri likes band the best.
Movies and music seem to be just two of the students’ highlights in their days at school. It is a good thing to have favorite subjects; that way the students have something to look forward to as they go through all the classes they hate in the school day.
Joey Roman enjoys science because it is interesting. Last, but not least, Nate Reinert likes science because, so far, he has been successful in it.
That is just a little about what FAHS students think about their subjects and teachers at Fleetwood.
