Tie-Dye Fruity Cupcakes are Fun

  • 1 package (2-layer size) white cake mix
  • ¼ cup dry JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin
  • ¼ cup dry JELL-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
  • ¼ cup dry JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
  • 1 container (16 oz.) ready-to-spread vanilla frosting

Prep Time: 30 Minutes (plus refrigerating)
Makes: 24 Servings


1. Prepare cake batter as directed on package.

2. Divide batter evenly into 3 bowls.

3. Stir each different flavor of dry gelatin mix into batter in each bowl.

4. Spoon orange batter evenly into 24 paper-lined muffin cups. Repeat with remaining batter, filling cups about 2/3 full.

5. Bake as directed on package for cupcakes.

6. Cool completely.

7. Pipe frosting onto cupcakes.

*Variation: Prepare as directed but substitute 1 tub (8 oz.) thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping for canned frosting.
