PriceRipley Price is currently a freshman at Fleetwood Area High School. Due to scheduling conflicts, she was given the opportunity to take the journalism elective despite the fact that the class is typically reserved for sophomores or older. Ripley is excited for the class and expects to take it all four years of her high school career. She is originally from Australia and moved to America with her family when she was five. She has adapted so well to life in America, though, that all traces of her Australian accent are gone. Ripley plays volleyball and the violin; she enjoys rock climbing in her free time. Her favorite genre to read and write about is horror, though her favorite novel is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.  Price says she is interested in writing anything in general. When she gets out of school, she wants to pursue a career in aeronautical engineering, which means designing airplanes. It should come as no surprise, then, that her favorite school subject is science. If she could meet one famous person, dead or alive, it would be Steve Jobs, for his innovative genius and positive impact on the world.
