Senior Austin Young has made it in to the Hall of Fame in the 2014-2015 school year. Young has been playing soccer for about ten years now.

He started playing when he was at his older brother’s soccer game and the coach went up to him and said they did not have enough players on the team.

Austin has been playing ever since. After finishing up that season with them, he realized he loved the game.

“Ever since I’ve started playing soccer, I’ve been telling myself that one day I will play professionally. I think I am on the Hall of Fame because of all my dedication I’ve put into soccer during my four years of high school,” Young said.

Young has always stayed committed to not only the sport but also to his teammates.  He hopes to have a future career in soccer someday. Young has also always enjoyed standing up as a leader on the field.

Young is thankful for the teammates he has gotten to meet amidst his love for soccer during the past ten years, but, most importantly, he is thankful for his mother who has been there supporting him since day one as his number one fan.

Young is looking forward to his future and hopes to pursue all of his goals.
