“The Flash,” directed by Andrés Muschietti, is set to come out June 15th. The lead role of Barry Allen is going to be played by Ezra Miller. Ezra Miller has been charged with felony burglary from a break-in of a neighbor’s home in Vermont for alcohol. According to usmagazine.com, Ezra Miller was also involved in an assault case in a karaoke bar back in 2022. These acts have led people to be uncertain of this upcoming movie.

Zoe Guy reported the first incident that came out about Miller. According to vulture.com, a video was released on Twitter of Miller choking a woman back in April 2020. The video was later taken down. Later that year, Ezra was in a relationship with a local musician in Northern Iceland, where allegations were held against Ezra for being manipulative and being the cause of many verbal disputes.

In the early weeks of April, a meeting was reported to Rolling Stone of Warner Bros. and DC executives coming to the conclusion to withhold Miller from any future projects and put a pause on ongoing projects. A week and a half later, Miller was again arrested in Hawaii for assault on a woman with a chair.

According to vulture.com, May 3, 2023, a little under a month before the movie is set to release, Oscar-winning producer Paul Austerberry commended Miller for “his excellent performance” as the lead role. Austerberry later said the movie is so good “people will forget that,” when asked by multiple news sources if the actions committed by Miller will derail the movie.
