Josh is currently a sophomore enrolled at Fleetwood Area High School, born and raised in the Fleetwood/Blandon area. Josh has a sister in Fleetwood as well, currently in the 7th grade; he also has a dog named Daisy. Over this past summer, Josh was working at a law firm, which was a paid internship. However, he doesn’t like to work while in school due to his focus being disrupted. While he’s not busy at school, Josh enjoys playing the violin and going on bike rides around his neighborhood. Also, just like anyone else, Josh enjoys listening to music; he doesn’t have a genre or musician of choice, but at the moment he currently likes Frank Sinatra.
Josh enjoys living in the moment, and he does have goals for after high school. As of now, Josh is interested in federal law enforcement. All sorts of law enforcement have been of interest to Josh since he was a young age. He plans on going to college for criminal justice or government.
Josh’s reasons for taking a journalism course are very straightforward: he would like to challenge his current writing skills and take them to the next level. He has never had Mr. Houp as a teacher before, but he’s very excited to have him this year; he thinks of Mr. Houp as a very funny and nice individual.
