On April 13th, Iran attacked Israel. Reporters and news outlets across the globe are reporting that the attack was sparked by an airstrike sent by Israel that killed military personnel and officers.

Little to nothing has been released or publicized on why Israel sent the initial airstrike, but according to the NYTimes.com, the attack was a message to Iran showing how weak their defensive systems were and how Israel is more than capable of bypassing them. Iran’s response was launching drones and missiles.

Experts believe that this has been a covert conflict for many years but is just now coming to light with the recent attacks.

The U.S is typically allied with Israel, taking the Israeli side in almost any conflict.

¨At my direction, to support the defense of Israel, the U.S. military moved aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the course of the past week,¨ President Biden said.

Biden goes on to mention how the U.S military has successfully taken down any drones or missiles launched by Iran.

While the drones sent to Israel failed because of U.S defense, drones are a crucial aspect to warfare.  Drones are being used to fight the Russia-Ukraine war as well.

¨Drones alone have completely redefined the way Warfare is,¨ YouTuber and former Air Force Special Warfare operator Garand Thumb said.

Thumb uploaded a video to YouTube with two unidentified Paramilitary Contractors currently fighting in the war in the middle east. In the video, participants go on to mention how drone warfare has completely changed how soldiers have to operate in the field or in the trench.

These drones are being used more and more, changing the course of warfare.
