Fleetwood Area High School junior Gabriel Seidel, lovingly known as Gabe, passed away this past September.

Gabe was an accomplished member of the Fleetwood Area High School baseball team.

“I enjoyed watching him doing class projects with Kumar Robinson,” science fiction teacher Zachary Houp told The Tiger Times.

“He was always joking to someone, always laughing.  I can’t remember a time where he wasn’t making conversation with someone,” biology teacher Lucas Bricker said.

“Gabe was my best friend, and we just did everything together, went out a lot. We got together in school, and we just played games outside of school,” junior Tommy Lipovsky said.

“He had a very wide sense of humor. He was always just so funny. His humor was very unique to him, and I had never met anybody with the same sense of humor as him,” junior Ella Bednarik, a childhood friend of Gabe’s, said.

“Gabe’s sense of humor was just everywhere. He had a very unique sense of humor,” Lipovsky said.

“He gave us the levity that we needed in the classroom so that we never took ourselves too seriously,” Houp said.

“He loved Lego; he loved poker. I know that he did really love Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac was one of his favorite bands,” Lipovsky said.

Gabe reportedly also enjoyed Glam Metal, especially Mötley Crüe.

“I think that he definitely left a big impact on the baseball team. He was really good. It feels like there’s a hole missing. There’s a hole within the junior class. It feels like a sole part of our community is gone,” Bednarik said.
