The Dallas Stars had an amazing run over the Winnipeg Jets in overtime.

The Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets battled through a fast-paced, physical game that had strong goaltending and even tighter defense. Momentum shifted throughout the game as each team took the key chances and kept the contest close until the final moments of the game.

On Feb 2, 2026, Thomas Harley scored in overtime for a 4-3 Stars win, following a late third period goal by Winnipeg’s Logan Stanley to force more time. Dallas is 35-22-5 all time against Winnipeg, and they showed good dominance in the recent matchup.

“It was a nice pass. Picked it up, looked it up, held off whoever was poke checking, and kind of moved to my hand back and tried to elevate,” Thomas Harley said on his O/T win.

In the 2025 Playoffs, The Stars eliminated the Jets in 6 games during the Western Conference Second Round, using overtime victories to secure the series for them.

“He’s playing with confidence, and that’s kind of the Cole you know. When he’s feeling really good about things, he makes a very good choice of plays,” Jets Coach Scot Arniel said of Cole Perfetti.

The win matched Dallas’ longest winning streak of the season: five games. Jake Oettinger (Dallas Stars) stopped 24 shots for his fifth straight win, while Connor Hellebuyck (Winnipeg Jets) made 24 saves.
