Matt Voyer is a third-year member of the journalism program at Fleetwood and the lead editor of The Tiger Times. He was born in Rhode Island in November 1993 and moved to Fleetwood during first grade. As a huge sports fan and a talented writer, it’s no surprise he plans to pursue a career in the sports media industry after high school. Voyer enjoys most sports but is especially interested in NBA basketball, citing the Boston Celtics as his favorite team. As someone who has seen the newspaper evolve into what it is today, Matt Voyer is excited to see the progress that the paper will make during this school year, and he is eager to help deliver relevant, factual news to the student body.
