Simmeria Hires New Head Chef

Thinking about taking your significant other out to dinner? Are you going out to lunch with a group of friends?

If so, Fleetwood’s Simmeria restaurant may be the right place for you, especially because of its new chef who is bringing some fresh items to the Spring menu.

Chef Albert Sinisi started as food stylist on the QVC television network who already has several published recipes. Sinisi got his start by working alongside his grandmothers, learning cooking techniques and approaches. He began his career as the chef/proprietor of Les Auteurs in Royal Oak, MI. He later worked with renowned chef Jacque Pepin and George Perrier of Le Bec Fin while attending the Culinary Institute of America.

“To cook with passion is the only way to cook.  If you can’t cook passionately, don’t cook at all,” Sinisi said.

Customers who eat at Simmeria will see more fresh, healthy, local dishes as the overall focus of the change. In addition, Sinisi will add more vegetarian, natural, and gluten-free cuisine.

On the new menu, patrons will also see his signature dish, roast duck with a fig and port wine reduction.
