For the month of October, Jacqueline Carroll and Ryan Raudenbush were picked by faculty as the students of the month. This is the second month that Fleetwood has done student of the month awards.
Ryan is the son of Dennis and Judy Raudenbush. He also has a brother named Todd.
Raudenbush would like to attend Penn State after high school. He enjoys playing baseball and golf for the school. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and going to sporting events. He does a lot of missions work with his church.
“I think it’s awesome I was chosen for student of the month, and I enjoy the parking spot. It is a good feeling being named it,” Raudenbush said.
Ryan’s advice to others is to be yourself and have fun.
Jacqueline Carroll plans to begin work as a music therapist and start advancing toward starting her own business after she graduates college. Outside of school, she enjoys teaching piano lessons and taking guitar, voice, and piano lessons of her own.
“I think it is a great idea to start the student of the month recognition again,” Carroll said.
Jackie also would tell others to keep being themselves. She has a brother who goes to Fleetwood named Nick Carroll, and her parents are Joan and Lawrence Carroll.
Starting the Student of the Month again seems to be a big hit. Sadly, only seniors can get Student of the Month but if you are not a senior you have something to work for when you become a senior.
