Fleetwood Area High School lost a very special friend over Christmas Break, Sarah Earnest. The Life Skills class is creating a memory quilt in her honor. Each student will fill out a patch on the quilt with whatever they want and help sew the patches together. They will be holding a memorial quilt hanging ceremony, and anyone is welcome to go.

“Sarah was fun, and I miss her,” sophomore Ben Schucker said.

Sarah’s was born on 8 May 1996. She was eighteen-years-old when she passed away  on Christmas Eve.

Sarah had three siblings, two of whom attend school in the district.

“She came to all of the events and never missed anything,” freshman Alexa Scatamacchia said.

“Sarah was my best friend. She was always there, and I miss hearing her,” Schucker said.

Sarah will be sorely missed.
