Mariota to Enter Draft

Marcus Mariota was the 2015 Heisman trophy winner. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon in Eugene.

Mariota declared for the NFL draft in January, and his pro day is coming up soon. The draft is happening in April.
Mariota attended the NFL scouting and did very well. He participated in the Quarterback drills and had his forty-yard dash and other combined drills assessed. His stats for the NFL combine were:

40 Yard Dash: 4.52 seconds (fastest QB timed)
Vertical Jump: 36.0 inches
Broad Jump: 121.0 inches
3 cone drill: 6.87 seconds
20 Yard shuttle: 4.11 seconds

Mariota weighed in at 6’4” and 222 lbs. His arm length is 32” and his hands, which are measured from the top of the thumb to the top of the pinky, are 9 7/8 inches.

Mariota is the leading passer in school history at the University of Oregon. He played in 41 career games at Oregon.

Wherever Mariota goes in the draft, scouts expect him to make a big impact in the NFL.
