Donald Trump’s pick for National security aide, Monica Crowley, has been found to have plagiarized multiple times in the columns she wrote for the Washington Times.  This was found out when a CNN Kfile investigation was launched and more than fifty instances were found according to CNNMoney.com.

After this was discovered, many publishers have stopped selling her book until edits were made to remedy the plagiarized sections.

According to CNNMoney.com, she plagiarized an article from Fox News on the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, an article on ISIS taken from Reuters News, and another article on ISIS written by the New York Times.

She has also plagiarized a large amount of her PhD from Columbia University.

The degree of plagiarism in her work ranges from paraphrasing without giving credit to flat out restating the work of others with no citations.

Crowley hasn’t responded, but the Trump transition team has responded by saying that the plagiarism is, “nothing more than a politically motivated attack that seeks to distract from the real issues facing this country,” according to cnn.com
