Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle first announced their engagement on 27 November 2017. They were recently married on 19 May 2018. The couple was married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle (United Kingdom). Prince Harry is a member of the British Royal family, while Meghan Markle is a former American actress.
The morning of the wedding, Elizabeth II, Harry’s grandmother, conferred upon him the titles of Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton, and Baron Kilkeel. Markle was appointed Duchess of Sussex. Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, officiated the wedding using the standard American church service for Holy Matrimony.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in a relationship since June of 2016, but their relationship was officially public on 8 November 2016.
Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle by giving her a bespoke engagement ring made by Cleave and Company.
At the same time, it was announced that they would live in Nottingham Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace, after their wedding.
Markle is now the second American and the first person of mixed racial heritage to marry into the British Royal family.
The prince of Wales ended up walking Meghan Markle down the aisle.
Sir Elton John performed at the Royal Wedding during the lunchtime reception. Guests who attended the Royal Wedding are now selling their goodie bags on eBay and other major advertising sites for high prices.
