Every month, Fleetwood Area High School selects students of the month, a title given by the school to students who display extraordinary character.

Fleetwood has released the names of the two students selected as students of the month for February as Annie Lee and Katelin Mileshosky

Both students are heavily involved in the many music programs that Fleetwood has to offer, with Lee part of the orchestra and Mileshosky part of Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Women’s Chorus, Choraliers, and Pit Orchestra.

Lee is very involved in cultural clubs at Fleetwood, being part of the ASL Club, Poetry Club, Book Club, and German Club.

Mileshosky is part of the National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society, and Girls Varsity Tennis. Additionally, Mileshosky helps her community through her involvement at her church, singing in her church’s choir.

After graduation, Lee plans on attending Bucknell University to study psychology.

Mileshosky also plans on attending college, hoping for acceptance to Lebanon Valley College. She plans on studying music education.

Mileshovsky is heavily involved in music education, interning at the Fleetwood Area Middle School as a music education intern.

When asked who their inspirations are, Lee said Mrs. Shuey because she is “unbelievably kind and patient with her students.”

Mileshovsky said that her grandmother is her inspiration because she is “thoughtful, hardworking, kind, funny, and sacrifices so much for the wellbeing of the other people in her life.”
