Fleetwood Area High School Names March and April Students of the Month

Fleetwood Area High School seniors Cloey Rentschler and Ryan Hromiak were named Students of the Month this past March. Fellow seniors Riley Spannuth and William Maurek earned this award for the month of April. 

Each month, teachers can recommend seniors whom they feel deserve the title of Student of the Month. This award recognizes students for their dedication and hard work throughout the school year.

Rentschler currently participates in several extracurriculars, including being the chapter president of Future Business Leaders of America  as well as a class officer. She also participates in National Honor Society and Rho Kappa Honor Society. 

Rentschler plans to attend a four-year university to study neuroscience, followed by attending medical school to become a physician. 

Hromiak is a senior member of Fleetwood’s golf team as well as a member of FBLA, NHS, and Rho Kappa. 

He plans to attend the University of South Carolina to study finance and become an entrepreneur. 

Spannuth participates in several music groups in addition to participating in drama club and TV Media. He is also a class officer and a member of NHS and Rho Kappa. 

After graduation, Spannuth plans to attend Belmont University to study Commercial Music. 

Maurek has taken part in the school’s soccer, track and field, and football teams. He also participates in Envirothon and his church youth group. 

He currently volunteers with the Fleetwood Fire Company and plans to attend Kutztown University and earn his EMT certification for fire.
