Seniors Olivia Walker and Tessa Pflum have been deemed to be exemplary students by FAHS faculty and staff, working hard every day at school, clubs, afterschool activities, etc. In September 2025, each were recognized for their contributions to the Fleetwood Area High School community.
Both believe in education and that making connections with teachers is important.
Pflum’s parents are Tracy and Bradley. She has lived in Fleetwood for her entire high school career.
Walker’s parents are Michele and Dean. She has also gone to Fleetwood for her whole school career, all while living in Blandon.
Both Walker and Pflum are a part of their school community, participating in Student Council. Pflum will be attending a four-year university to study neuroscience, while Walker will be attending an in-state school to study nursing.
Both stated that, to become student-of-the-month, you need to form healthy relationships, obtain good grades, and be involved in the Fleetwood school community.
¨You don’t have to be perfect; just be involved!¨ Walker said.
Both were surprised to hear they were chosen for student-of-the-month, yet they very excited they were the first ones chosen this school year!
Walker and Pflum are both a excited to start their lives outside of high school but also sad to leave the place they´ve known their whole lives. They both have responsibilities within the school. Walker is the manager for the volleyball team, while Pflum is in the marching band!
One thing they also have in common is that they will not let that stop them from working hard to reach their goals!
