“As the first woman to win this award, I’m grateful to be recognised. My music production is the thing I’m proudest of, and I’ve worked really hard at it, so I hope this inspires others to pursue their passion.”

On February 28, 2026, Pinkpantheress was invited to the BRIT Awards. Pinkpantheress (Victoria Beverley Walker) is a popular dance/electronic musician based out of the United Kingdom. The BRIT Awards have been nominating British musicians for their excellence since 1977.

In 2026, Pinkpantheress became the first woman and youngest person, at age 24, to win the “BRITS Producer of the Year Award,” which had been previously segmented into both men and women categories but was changed in 2022 to accommodate diverse gender identities.

“I’m a big manifester, and when I was younger, I would be going crazy trying to manifest even the most basic things, or manifesting some level of success. I’d write down, ‘You’re going to have a huge song by the time you’re 19’  in my diary 50 times. I would go outside and speak to the stars,” Pinkpantheress said.

Pinkpantheress began producing music when she was seventeen-years-old in 2019. She began with releasing songs and beats on GarageBand and SoundCloud, where her passion was felt in each tune. In the digital age, it is very difficult for musical artists (or those in creative fields in general) to advocate for themselves and share art.

Pinkpantheress especially resonates with being desperate to be heard in the infinite sea of social media accounts.

“I would follow people and then unfollow them just so that they’d follow me back because I was really desperate to get people that would listen to my music,” Pinkpantheress said to Coveteur

Her manifestations from youth to the present have proved as optimistic prognosis, as she has been able to achieve not only a few popular song releases when she was 19 (“Pain”, “Break It Off”, and the unreleased, leaked demo “Just a Waste”), but she has also achieved multiple award nominations while demonstrating herself as a hardworking member of the creative industry who deeply cares about her work.

Her passion and aesthetics have cultivated a determined fanbase, now with 42 million monthly listeners on Spotify and staggering numbers arriving at her concerts. Some of those fans include those attending Fleetwood Area High.

“I think ‘Stateside’ is catchy, and it puts me in a good mood. It feels like a sassy and glamorous pop anthem,” FASD sophomore Sophia Nestler said.
