Everyone Loves a Snow Day!

Every high school student loves a snow day, even the big, bad seniors. But what do students do when they are not in school?  More certainly occurs on these days than just sleeping, eating, and shoveling.

Ryan Cortazzo and Zachary Noll like to spend their snow days sledding and chilling.

For others, sitting around reading a good book is just the right choice; Josias Piri enjoys this just as much as the next person. However, reading would not really qualify for the top ten favorite activities because most are not as studious as Josias.

Relatively few people said that they would sleep on their snow day; Cory Unger, Ethan Martinez, and Robert Perrin were among them. Colin Underwood, on the other hand, says that he could be found “napping.”

Patrick Tobias and Zachary Hess make it a point to do absolutely nothing, but Chris Lawrence claims that, on his snow day, he likes to “respect women and collect currency.”

Mrs. Wilkinson likes to get work done around the house; even though she still sleeps late, she finds time to clean her house and then unwinds by watching TV.

Instead of using her own house on her day off, Daisy Oroco likes to go to her sister’s house to read and play Wii all day long.

Although many students are busy-bodies, there are many others who enjoy staying at home; for instance, Nick Braswell stays at home and does nothing. Heather Wanner, the always faithful student, stays home and finishes up homework and school projects from the day before.

Reading is always a good idea when it’s cold outside, and Liz Geisinger never wants to go outside to play in the snow. But if there is one person who likes to go outside in the bitter cold weather, it’s Kyle Gheret, who rolls around in the snow with his friends.

Liz Jones enjoys going ice skating on a dangerous lake somewhere.

Ethan Martinez enjoys making boneless buffalo wings on his snow days—and, of course, dipping them in ranch!

All this goes to show that everyone has his or her own way to spend the day that’s dressed in white.  Have fun and stay safe in the snow because there is going to be a lot of it this year!
