The annual Holiday Craft Show (formally known as the Holiday Bizarre) will take place this year on 19 November from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria, auxiliary gym, and hallways.

The Holiday Craft Show is a fundraiser for both FBLA and the class of 2012’s graduation. The event consists of vendors selling goods such as furniture, jewelry, soap, and art of all styles, among other things. In addition to the vendors this year, there will be a special appearance from Santa provided by the Yearbook Club.

“Come on out and shop, shop, shop till you drop. With over 100 vendors, there’s something for everyone,” Advisor and social studies teacher Sue Nagle said. “Do some early holiday shopping because this is the place to do it.”

“This is a perfect opportunity for all FBLA members to earn community hours, so come on out and help,” Business teacher and fellow advisor Kelly Ackerman said.

If you are interested in vending, contact either  Nagle or Ackerman at the high school. All FBLA members and seniors are expected to help in some way for this event.

“Every year we hope to make the Holiday Craft Show better than the year before, and this year is no exception,” Nagle said. “Also, seniors, if you don’t want to be paying for your cap, gown, and the other things that come with graduation, you should help this out because this is one of your biggest fundraisers of the year, and it will pay off if you let it. This fundraiser could make or break the bank for your graduation funds.”
