Relay for Living Plays Matchmaker

Are you single? Did you just lose a best friend and want a new one? Well, Relay for Life may be of assistance.

Relay for Life recently handed out surveys to the FAHS English teachers. The survey included questions that ranged from really personal to not very personal at all.

This survey was designed so that students can figure out their most compatible matches and ideal best friends from the school.

The results will be on two different sheets of paper: one paper will only deal with your grade while the other paper will deal with the remaining three grades.

The first print-out will cost $2.00, and the second will cost only $1.00. The print-outs will be sold at lunches on 9, 10, 13, and 14 February.

“Freshman should know how much fun it is to get your matches. You get 15 matches this year, and you also get three least compatible,” math teacher Cindy Steele, club advisor, said.

If a student did not take the questionnaire, he or she will not be able to get a printout. Also, if a student did not answer the questions truthfully, he or she will not get the correct results.

Although there have not been any reports of relationships or friendships blossoming from the Computer Fun,  everyone can get a good laugh at the results they receive.

“I hope the guys will be different,” former buyer of the Computer Fun results sophomore Sam Matelan said. “I’m buying them because I’m bored.”

All money collected will be going to the American Cancer Society, and the school’s Relay for Life team will get the credit for the money. Even if you are in a relationship or are not particularly interested, it is still a fantastic opportunity to donate to a very worthy cause.

So what do you have to lose? Take a chance and buy your matches. You may find your Valentine.
