Diverse Summer Cinema Offerings Expected

Looking to see a good movie this summer? This upcoming season has a variety of different movies for all viewers. Everything from comedies to superhero movies will be represented in this much anticipated summer.

“Ted” comes out on 29 June. “Ted” is a comedy with Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and Seth MacFarlane (as Ted). Wahlberg has an imaginary teddy bear friend who is actually alive and speaking. Throughout this movie, John (Mark Wahlberg) must decide between living with Ted or his girlfriend.

“I cant wait to see Ted. It looks like a hilarious movie. Seth MacFarlane is awesome on family guy, so I can only imagine how funny he will be in this movie!” Senior Josh Kelly said.

The third of July is the release date for “The Amazing Spider-Man.” This movie is about Peter Parker and his childhood. The film focuses on the disappearance of his parents and Peter trying to figure out what happened to them. The villain in this movie is the Lizard. Peter must choose the life of a superhero in order to keep peace.

“This movie looks like it’s going to better than the others recently made. The movie looks cooler through new advancements in the movie industry,” senior Joe Matteo said.

“The Dark Knight Rises” comes out 20 July. This movie takes place eight years after the events of “The Dark Knight.” Batman is confronted by two evils in this movie, Bane and Catwoman.

“Out of all the movies coming out this year, this one looks the coolest. The trailers were awesome, and Batman is the coolest! Everyone should go see this because I know I am!” senior Dan McMullen said.
