After a year-long absence, the Fleetwood Area High School’s film club is making a return. The club didn’t meet at all last year due to scheduling conflicts between the two leaders of the club, media teacher Sean Gaston and English teacher Zachary Houp.
Luckily, this year those issues have been ironed out, and the club is going to begin meeting weekly once again.
This year, Gaston and Houp plan on setting up club events. Some of the ideas for these events that they had shared were possibly going to a theatre and seeing movies there and perhaps acquiring newly released indie movies from film festivals and doing screenings in school.
The club plans to meet at the end of every week in Mr. Gaston’s room.
