As the capital of Great Britain, London has become one of the most popular European cities to visit during the past few years. With a good nightlife, even better shopping, and several sites that are all a must-see, it is a city worth visiting more than once.
When it comes to places to stay, there is a huge variety. You can stay at a five-star hotel close to Oxford Street, which is the main street of London, or you could stay closer to the suburbs and take the famous Underground wherever you would want to go. Taking the Underground and vacationing outside central London would, of course, be a lot cheaper than living close to Oxford Street or Hyde Park.
There are several things you could do in London, like visiting the London Eye, a giant Ferris wheel built to celebrate the new millennium. You could also visit Buckingham Palace and see the Changing of the Guards, visit one of the many street markets found around the city, or just walk down the shopping streets like Oxford. If you have a higher budget, you could also visit Bond Street.
