Tyler Milligan is a senior at Fleetwood Area High School and will be graduating with this year’s 2016 graduates.
Milligan’s plans after high school are to enlist in the Marine Corps. Following boot camp, he wants to be a computer systems administrator. Although he has a huge love for the military, his father does not approve. His passion is to serve our country, and he also has a love for computers.
“Well, he is a good friend of mine over the years and he is a humorous fellow with creative mind and heart.” senior Brandon Maurer said.
Milligan came to Fleetwood in the second grade. He has a little brother and three dogs. Milligan’s hobbies are building computers and seeing how they work. He also enjoys driving in his jeep for fun.
“Tyler is deceptively perceptive. Used properly, his insight into world events will serve him well in the future,” social studies teacher Todd Weiss said.
He would love to be stationed in Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, South Carolina. In the marines, he would like to be either a tank diver or an amphibious assault vehicle operator.
“Even though I would like to live in Jacksonville, it would be pretty cool to live in Camp Pendleton,” Milligan said.
Milligan is a graduate at BCTC West. He is skilled in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. He earned second place at Skills USA for HVAC.
“I think that is an awesome goal that Tyler wants to be a marine in the future,” English teacher Mark Walter said.
“His greatest strength is having loads of energy and endurance,” Weiss said.
His favorite place to vacation is Aruba because it is one of the happiest places to be.
