“I hope you guys win. It would be cool for your senior year, and you won the past three years already,” chemistry teacher Mr. Matthew Biniek said.

Homecoming is coming up, and the seniors want to win for the fourth year in a row.

This year’s senior theme is the Scientific Seniors. Students will be represented as the different cell organelles as well as the elements on the periodic table.

Hallway decorating occurred from 21 to 28 September after school until 8:00 p.m. Everyone was welcome and encouraged to help out.

The pep rally will be outside in the stadium, as it was last year, unless it rains. In the event of bad weather, Jeopardy will be played inside the school instead.

Categories for points are going to stay the same. The Voice is getting its own category, and a new category will be created according to the most students who attend the homecoming dance from each grade.

When asked which class would be hardest to beat, Student Council President Sydney Galtere said, “Probably the sophomores. They won the hallway decorations last year.”

However, Galtere thinks seniors will still win, as they “always dominate at Tug of War, and [they] always put on a good variety show.”

The majority of the spirit days will be the same as last year, and a brand new one will be included as well. Class Distinction Day, Fleetwood Spirit Day, Jersey Day, and Pajama Day will be making a comeback, while Crocs and Socks Day will be added to the list.

Homecoming shirts will be sold as always. This year, they are red with a splatter paint pattern. Senior shirts will also be available, presumably before the annual PowderPuff game.
