Nisha Hope Savino is a diligent, comical, and kindhearted senior at Fleetwood Area High School. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on 5 August 2002. Nisha is one of two children, the other being her sister, Grace Savino. Growing up, Grace had always been Nisha’s greatest influence. In most cases, she was the only reason Nisha ever left her room. At only five-years-old, Nisha and her family moved to Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, where she began her first day of Kindergarten at Willow Creek Elementary School. Since then, Nisha remained in the Fleetwood Area School District, and she is thrilled to finish out her last year here.
Nisha is an involved student at Fleetwood. She participates in cheer with her best friend Korrin, and Savino is one of the varsity captains for the 2019-2020 school year. In her spare time, she enjoys watching throwback television shows from Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel. Her greatest accomplishments thus far include becoming the president of the National History Day Club and going to states. Nisha partakes in journalism because she enjoys writing. However, she has no interest in pursuing that career after high school.
Nisha’s aspirations in life include attending George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, in order to join their ROTC program and eventually major in criminology. Once she graduates college, she hopes to become a forensic psychologist. At twenty-five-years-old, Nisha plans on starting a family. She hopes to one day give birth to three boys and one girl.
An important moral Nisha has lived by is that “kindness is more effective,” and she encourages others to keep an open mind to that ethic.
