The MLB playoffs are down to the final four teams, including the Houston Astros, LA Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, and Atlanta Braves, with the Astros and the Red Sox in the ALCS and The Dodgers and the Braves in the NLCS.

As the series continues, the Astros are one win away (3-2 series) from going to the World Series. The last time they were there was in 2019. And in the NLCS, the Braves (3-1) are also one win away from going to the world series. The last time the Braves went to the world series was a little over 20 years ago in 1999.

“Los Angeles hasn’t hit, the bullpen has blown up twice, they’ve made several dopey mistakes on the bases and in the field,” Mike Axisa said.

The Dodgers have been making physical and mental mistakes on the field, but that doesnt mean the Dodgers are out of this completely. If they clean up the mistakes, they could make the series longer and more exciting. However, because the Dodgers are the defending champions, getting beaten by a wild card team wouldn’t be a good look.

In the ALCS, the Astros are the 2019 World Series champions. It would be an interesting series, with the 2019 and 2020 World Series champions playing for the 2021 World Series title.

The Boston Red Sox are the 2018 World Series champs, so to have the World Series champions from the last three years and a wild card team all being the final four teams is going to make for an entertaining sequence of games.

But that was back on the date 4 October 2021. With all of the series changing every day, the odds of who will make it to the final games are changing every day.

The Dodgers are the most hated team in baseball because of their most recent World Series win.  Still, all of those Dodgers fans are going to be watching to see if the Dodgers season will stay alive or end.
