Five FAHS students signed their letters of intent for their chosen sport on 10 November 2021.
Megan Brattley, attending Kent State University for Pre-Med Biology and Spanish while playing Division I softball, has cherished the opportunities Fleetwood has given her.
“I will miss the atmosphere and the Co-op with Muhlenberg and my teammates and coaches there.“ Brattley said.
Leilah Sallee, attending the University of Delaware to play D1 soccer and study Nutrition and Dietetics, thanks her dad for being her biggest supporter. Ever since Leilah was little, her father has always pushed her to pursue her goals.
Madison Herb, another soccer commitment, is attending Mansfield University and entering the nursing program. She explains how her Coach Eric has had a big influence on her decisions. The two of them stay in touch outside of soccer, which shows how great of a coach he is.
Casey Dewald, attending Kutztown University to major in business while minoring in finance and also playing field hockey, talks about meeting the KU coach at a college clinic in 7th grade. That was the beginning of Casey’s interest in KU.
Sarah Loeffler will attend Mansfield University to play field hockey while studying forensic science/psychology. Field hockey has taught her how to be a leader, a teammate, and a friend. She will miss playing with the girls she’s been with since 6th grade.
All five athletes have bright futures ahead of them, and Fleetwood is glad to support them on their paths.
