The FAHS students of the month have been identified for January 2023 as Jared Speece and Harmoni Stoudt. Stoudt and Speece both pride themselves on their work ethic and are happy to receive this award.
“Part of it is that I’m always putting forth my best effort in everything I do,” Stoudt said.
“I think my grades have been great, and I’ve worked very hard,” Speece said.
Students of the month are selected by teachers every month for Fleetwood Area High School. It is not an easy award to receive, as only two are handed out per month. A student must do something to impress teachers to get the award
“Another part is bonding with the teachers and trying to get involved in school activities,” Stoudt said.
Speece has been working extra hard in the classroom, and his grades have been excellent. Speece plans to enter a union after school to become an electrician. He has been doing an independent study in the school workshop and learning some pointers.
“It’s really learning about the little things. They can sometimes be the most important,” Speece said.
Both students had the option to park in the student of the month parking spaces in the parking lot .
“I’ll for sure park there,” Speece said.
