Save the date! Prom will be on May 5th, starting at 5:00 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. The theme is “Enchanted,” and many students expect it to be better than ever before.

The memory-making evening will be hosted at Stokesay Castle in Reading, PA.

There has been a lot of planning for the prom. The people involved are teachers (Ms. Fullington and Ms. Phillips) and juniors (Joshua Felker, Cloey Rentschler, Timothy Shuman, Riley Spannuth, Gabriella Williams, and Makayla Yellets).

“My favorite part of planning prom has been being able to go through this process and work with my officers and prom committee to work out all the little details and use our skills of advertising and creativity to help this all come together. We have been working really hard on this for almost two years, and it’s amazing to see it come to fruition!” Williams said.

Seniors will have a chance to vote for prom king and queen while juniors will have the opportunity to vote for prom prince and princess. Those results will be announced sometime throughout the night. Dinner will be served in the beginning, and dancing is encouraged for all.

Although there is a lot of pressure to make prom enjoyable, Fullington and Phillips have been a helping hand from the start.

“Ms. Fullington and Ms. Phillips have been extremely helpful throughout the process of planning for prom. Whether it be by planning meetings, offering advice, or helping by giving us the materials we need, in order to succeed, Ms.Fullington and Ms.Phillips have been a vital asset in planning for prom,” Felker said.

Prom tickets will be $80; cash is accepted, or checks can be made to “FAHS Class of 2024.” If a student would like to bring a non-Fleetwood student, a guest permission paper must be filled out and approved before tickets are purchased.

In addition, students can buy tickets in room 203 after school beginning on April 11th through the 21st.
