The FAHS students-of-the-month for April are Joshua Mitten and Addasyn Negron. They are both seniors in Fleetwood Area High School, and they are both recognized for working hard and showing effort! Each of the students isinvolved in a number of extracurricular activities as well.
Joshua has been involved in the following club/activities at Fleetwood Area High School: Mock Trial, marching band, jazz band, concert band, chorus, Model UN, drama club, Rho Kappa Honor Society, and National Honor Society.
Addasyn has also been involved in club/activities at Fleetwood Area High School as well as Berks Career Technology Center (BCTC): field hockey, cosmetology, National Technical Honor Society, and Skills USA.
Sometimes it can be hard to keep up with all one’s schoolwork while being involved with so many things. Addasyn says
“I make sure, when I have assignments, to always work on them in class because that’s the time when you are able to take advantage of working on things. If I have homework, that’s the first thing I do when I get home from school,” Negron said.
After high school, Joshua’s future plans include attending Washington and Lee University in the fall to study business. Addasyn’s future plans include attending Saint Joseph’s University to major in radiography. Both students have worked hard to get to this point.
