“Frosty Fairytale” an FAHS Reality

It’s beginning to feel like a lot like that time of the year once again. The leaves are changing, the days are getting shorter, and it’s only a matter of time before the snow begins its annual onslaught. All of these signs point to one thing, and it’s not Christmas.

The annual Holiday Ball, one of student council’s biggest fundraisers and the penultimate dance for this year, is nigh. The theme has been changed to “Frosty Fairytale” from last year’s Las Vegas theme, and with that alteration comes many other changes for this year’s incarnation of the Ball.

“We have lots of lights, snowflakes, Christmas ornaments, projected scenery, good food, as well as the DJ from the first overtime that everyone liked,” said student council advisor Mrs. London.

London continued, “I think all of the students should attend because this is the only other dance besides prom for the whole year. You will get to see people from a different perspective when they are all dressed up. There will also be the same photographer as last year if anyone would like to take any pictures while at the dance. And mostly, you should go to have a good time.”

Student council is putting a lot of work into this year’s Holiday Ball, and that hard work is paying off. The decorations are looking quite festive, and the whole event is almost entirely planned already.

All evidence suggests that this will be the best Holiday Ball yet.
