Every year in March the Fleetwood High School performs a play or musical. This year will be no different. This year the Fleetwood Theatrical Society and director Matthew Biniek have chosen Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s version of Cinderella.

The musical will be performed on March 18th and 19th of 2011. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m., so make sure to arrive several minutes early to avoid interrupting the performance. The event will take place in the High School Auditorium, and tickets will be sold at the door.

The play needs approximately sixty people, which includes actors, actresses, pit musicians, and stage crew. Rehearsal and other activities involving the play will begin sometime in December.

If you would like to get involved in the play by acting, helping with set, or playing in the orchestra, stop by Mr. Biniek’s room and ask how you can get involved. The school reaction to last year’s play was overwhelmingly positive, and this year you can be a part of the excitement.
