March’s students of the month are seniors Tyler Emge and Elizabeth Del Rio.
Tyler Emge is the son of Mike and Kelly Emge. After finishing high school, Tyler plans to attend Shippensburg University to play football and major in political science.
In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights and working out. Emge also likes to hang out with his friends. Tyler likes to sing all the time.
“I sing a lot even though I [am not good],” senior Tyler Emge said.
Emge participates in football and baseball.
“It’s an honor to be Student of the Month, and it is a proud moment for me!” Emge said.
Elizabeth Del Rio is the daughter of George and Victoria Del Rio; she has a brother named Michael. She plans on going to college to major in Biochemistry.
During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and reading. She participates in ballet, lyrical dance, and indoor and outdoor track and field. She participates in the swim team, field hockey team, band, wind ensemble, and National Honor Society. She is also a class officer.
“I feel very honored that I was selected as student of the month,” Del Rio said.
