The students of the month for May 2018 were Daniel Jablonski and Amanda Oross. They are both heavily involved in school activities.
Daniel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jablonski of Blandon. Throughout his high school career, Jablonski has been involved in Soccer, Youth Leadership Conference, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Pit Orchestra, and Concert Band.
Jablonski says he admires his father, because “my dad made me into the person I am today by teaching me life lessons.”
Jablonski will be attending Penn State University to acquire a degree in electrical engineering and start a career in the engineering field.
Oross is the daughter of Stephen Oross and Sheree Combs of Fleetwood. Throughout her high school career, Oross has been involved in Book Club, Student Council, Outdoor Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Relay for Life, Science Olympiad, National Honors Society, Film Club, and Rho Kappa National History Honor Society.
Oross admires Michelle Obama not only for her poise and class but for her devotion to others around the world.
Her future plans involve attending Gettysburg College and to design her own major to ultimately be an interior/exterior designer with a focus on business.
