Emily Pollock and Grace Reed are the students of the month for the month of March! They both have worked hard within the school district and outside of it to become successful. Emily is the daughter of Peter and Abby Pollock, of Blandon. Matthew and Sarah Reed are Grace’s parents, also of Fleetwood.
Pollock’s plan for the future is to work in a dental office as a dental assistant. Her role model for this is her BCTC Dental teacher, Mrs. DeCarlo.
¨I look up to her in everything she has helped me with and has had me accomplish.¨
…For example, passing all of her dental assistance national board exams. Pollock is now x-ray certified thanks to her hard work and amazing teacher, Mrs. DeCarlo.
Reed’s future plan is attending Bloomsburg University to major in Medical Imaging. She is involved in many different clubs and after school activities within the school district. Just a few of them are field hockey, Science Olympiad, Enviro-THON, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society, ASL Club, etc.
Emily Pollock and Grace Reed are the students of the month for the month of March. They´ve worked hard, and they plan to continue striving!
