The students of the month for May are Teagan Hilburt and Miles Schroedor. Both students are in 12th grade.
Miles lives with his mother, Jennifier, and his father, Chris Schroedor. Teagan lives in Blandon with her mother, Laura, and her father, William Hilburt. Teagan and Miles both plan to attend Universities after graduation.
Teagan’s plans include going to West Chester University to study Business Management. Miles is going to be attending Duquesne University for Nursing.
Both Miles and Teagan have been involved in various different after-school activities and sports. Miles has been involved with, Berks Career Technology Center, baseball, hockey, Women’s Empowerment Club, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society, National Honor Society, Dart Club, and golf; he even acted as the 2026 Class Treasurer and BCTC MHP HOSA Treasurer. Teagan is the Historian of the Class of 2026, and she participated in National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society, Women’s Empowerment Club, girls’ soccer, girls’ basketball, and track and field.
Teagan’s primary role model is her mother, Laura. Teagan says her mother does so much for others and is always there for her. Miles’ role model is his fellow classmate Connor, who always demonstrates perseverance and resilience.
