The position of student of the month is something many upperclassmen seek during their high school careers. Not only do these students have their photos posted in the front of the building, but these students also receive a parking spot in the front of the lot for the month.
Samantha Evans is a senior at Fleetwood and has earned this title alongside one of her fellow classmates.
Evans is a well-rounded student and an incredible leader to her classmates, so it is easy to see why she was presented with this honor.
Along with sitting in the top five students in her class, Samantha is involved in multiple clubs, organizations, and honor societies. Evans is the president of Student Council and a member of FBLA, Relay 4 Life, vocal ensemble, women’s chorus, choraliers, theatre society, NHS, and Quill and Scroll. She also plays alto sax in the marching and concert band.
Her heavy involvement in the school makes her an excellent student to represent the school as student of the month.
John Alexander Kopp, better known to his classmates as Alex, has also been awarded the honor of student of the month.
His classmates recognize him for his sharp sense of humor and strong opinions. Aside from being a well-liked senior, Kopp has been an outstanding member of Student Council for the past four years. He currently holds the position of treasurer and works hard to keep our student body involved in school=wide events and activities.
Alex also is a distinguished member of the high school yearbook staff, which spends months out of the year working to provide yearbooks to the student body.
His determined attitude makes him a wonderfull fit for the position of student of the month.
