The FAHS Students of the Month for November were recently announced.
Students Sarah Reitnauer and Ryan Flood received the Student of the Month award for November 2021.
Both students have put a tremendous amount of work into their academics, and it is apparent through their work and achievements.
“It was possibly my work with Operation Heroes, the FBLA chapter community service project, combined with my teachers noticing my resistance and hard-working attitude,” Fleetwood Area High School senior Sarah Reitnauer said.
Both Ryan and Sarah are involved in many extracurricular activities. Ryan is involved in cross country, track, student council, and National History Club.
Flood plans to receive a degree in psychology and eventually become a forensic psychologist. Reitnauer plans to receive a degree in secondary agricultural education so that she can be a high school agriculture and science teacher.
“My mom was proud of me, as she has always known I work very hard in school,” Reitnauer said.
Both students have done many things in school to contribute to this achievement. They have helped the people around them, completed their assignments on time, and tried to be the best students they could be.
“I did not expect the award, as I pretty much fly under the radar in school and do not bring much attention to myself,” Reitnauer said.
Flood declined to comment for this article.
Although there are many hardworking students that go to Fleetwood Area High School, both Reitnauer and Flood have demonstrated themselves to be leaders among their peers.
