The FAHS December Students of the Month have been announced.

Senior students Abigail Geschwindt and Wyatt Hetrick have received the Student of the Month award for December of 2021.

Both students are involved in many activities inside and outside of their school.

Abigail is involved in Film Club, Sustainable Students, Science Olympiad, Book Club, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society, band, softball, and volleyball.

“Looking from an outside perspective, I think I’ve worked super hard, and I’ve made some great memories. I like to think I’ve earned this award,” Geschwindt said.

Wyatt is also involved in many activities that have made him a deserving recipient of this award.

Wyatt is involved in Chess Club, Book Club, and Future Business Leaders of America.

Both students have very bright futures ahead of them. Both Wyatt and Abigail plan on continuing their education after high school.

Abigail plans to attend a four-year college to receive a degree in environmental science. Wyatt plans on attending college on a pre-med track.

“I think my teachers have recognized my work ethic in the last four years as well as my ability to openly communicate with them,” Geschwindt said.

Abigail and Wyatt have both worked extremely hard in school and outside of school to be able to receive this award, and, with everything they have accomplished these last four years, the distinction seems rightfully earned.
